Milk Pods Artist Statement

Each cycle of life has its own unique beauty and as the cycles end it creates a new cycle.  As the wilting dried milk pods come to their end of life, they explode creating a grand finale, sowing their seeds only to repeat the cycle again.

Each milk pod has a unique beautiful texture on the exterior. The seeds are formed on the interior, waiting to fly into the air to ensure the pattern of life will be repeated.

I became fascinated by the milk pods beauty in their final days of life.  It is a lesson we should all strive toward and not fear finality, but embrace the cycle and rebirth.
